Key job responsibilities

As a Software Development Engineer on our team, you will:

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance software solutions to support the rewards program initiatives.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Drive the architecture and technology choices that enable a world-class user experience

  • Utilize various metrics sources to deliver rapid iterations of software features

  • Solve difficult problems with elegant and practical code

  • Raise the bar on quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, security and all the other things that make great software

  • Help define engineering best practices and provide technical mentor-ship to other members of the engineering team

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
