This position is for Videojet’s PQI Digital team located at ESKO R&D Center, Bangalore.

As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will join a team of highly skilled software engineers to drive Veralto’s Digital transformative initiatives in IoT, Data and Analytics (Machine Learning) platforms targeted at multiple market segments. You will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, distributed, reliable Serverless systems that will serve as the backbone of Veralto’s digital platforms. You will get a chance to work with a world class globally distributed Agile team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science & minimum experience of 3+ years of IC experience.

• Experience development of new UI features component features using React.js/ Angular.

• Strong knowledge on UI fundamentals- JavaScript, HTML, css including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.

• Hands on experience unit testing & integration testing UI components and solving issues independently.

• Build reusable multi-device compatible UI components and front-end libraries using best practices & scalable design.

• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git & familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience integration of UI components with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms

• Ability and intent to pick up latest UI stack and versions.

• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

• Experience with automated UI testing suites

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (such as Webpack, Babel, etc.)

Good to have

• Knowledge on Angular.

• Knowledge on NodeJs

• Knowledge on GDPR & PII.

• Good knowledge on AWS tools- if worked on other SAAS providers, should be able to relate.

• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospective sessions.

• Ability to work with cross-functional and remote teams.

• Ability to travel as needed
