The Cloud Managed Services Engineer (L2) is responsible for providing a managed service to clients to ensure that their Cloud infrastructure remain operational through proactively monitoring, identifying, investigating, and resolving cloud-based incidents, service requests and alerts. The primary objective of this role is to proactively review client requests or tickets and apply technical/process knowledge to resolve them without breaching service level agreement (SLA). This role focuses on second-line support for incidents and requests with a medium level of complexity to ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of clients' cloud infrastructure and services.

This role may also contribute to / support on project work as and when required.

Working at NTT

  • 4-8 years of proven experience in managing public cloud environments, particularly with platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability.

  • Implementing and overseeing cloud security measures, including identity and access management, network configurations, and data protection.

  • Monitoring cloud services and resources, analyzing system performance, and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Automating cloud operations and workflows using scripting languages and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud services, architectures, and deployment models.

  • Proficiency in using cloud automation and orchestration tools.

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

  • Solid understanding of network architectures and data security protocols.

  • Assisting with the deployment and management of applications in the cloud.

  • Collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate cloud management with existing processes and tooling.

  • Handling the backup and disaster recovery processes and ensuring that data integrity and availability are maintained.

  • Providing technical support and training to team members on cloud-related topics.

  • Staying updated with the latest developments in cloud computing and introducing innovative cloud solutions and practices.

  • Good English language skills, written and spoken, with strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence without authority

  • Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure, with attention to details.
