Overview

Assoc. Data Engineer

What you will do:

• Extract,Transform, andLoad (ETL) data sets in various file formats such as flat files, excel, Access, PDF, XML, JSON, EDIetc.

• Maintain,optimize, and refactor existing ETL processes for improved performance andmanageability

• Build datapipelinesto assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional businessrequirements

• Create andmaintainT-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, CTEs, Recursive table expressions etc. to handle large and complexdatasets

• Create and maintain SSIS packages fordata updates

• Ensure data quality and integrity in databases by developing robust validation scripts,and continuouslymakeimprovements to mitigatebugs, redundancies,andinconsistencies

• Analyze and query multiple, complexdatabasesand systems to produce various data analysisreports

• Create andmaintaindocumentation for data updates process using requirement specifications, schema and record layouts, programs, business requirements and otherartifacts

• Participate in daily scrum meetings, planning,retrospectivesand other agile processes to support two weeksreleasecycles and assure consistent andaccuratedelivery ofHealthcaredata and software

What You Bring:

• 2+yearsof data engineering experience working in partnership with large datasets

• Solid experience, developing and implementing DW Architectures, OLAP & OLTP technologiesanddatamodelling

• Experienced withT-SQL andETL automation

• Proficient in using SSDT tools for building SQL server relational databases, Integration Servicespackagesand Reporting Services reports

• Experience with Pythonand/orPowershell

• Experience with the version control system such as GIT, ADOetc.

• Familiarity with BI & dashboarding tools and multi-dimensionalmodelling

• Greatproblem-solving capabilities, troubleshooting data issues and experience in stabilizing big datasystems.

Bonus points:

• Experience with US Healthcare data domain is aplus

• Certification in one of the cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
