During the school year, the position is16hours per week, working Mondayand Tuesdayfrom 7:45am-3:45pm.
During the summer, the position is15hours per week, working Mondayand Tuesday from 7:45am-3:15pm.

Responsibilities
Maintaina cumulative health record on each student.
Develop individualized health care plans, emergency action plans, and bus plans as needed for students with special health concerns.
Administermedications
Administerfirst aid and treats illnesses
Assurethat all students are in compliance with the Maryland state law for immunizations.
Maintain and organizemedical equipment and supplies for the school health suite.
Assistwith and/or provides annual hearing and vision screenings
Monitorheight, weight, pulse, and blood pressure of designated students.
Serveas a liaison between family, school personnel, and health care providers.
Participatein pre-admission and Annual Team Meeting or Annual Individual Education Plan Meeting review for students with identified health needs.
Participates on a nursing committee (attends 75% of meetings, or routinely completes an assigned task for the committee, or may serve as a co-chair).
Qualifications
Education :Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.BSN or enrolled in a BSN program to be completed within 2½ yearsof hiring date.
E xperience : Minimum of two years of clinical and/or pediatric experience required and minimum of one year of school health experience required.
License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
Certification :Current CPRcertification that included hands on skills
