Schwab is seeking a dynamic .NET and Angular UI Software Developer Specialist with a passion for technology and excellence.
The Advisor Services Technology team organization focuses on providing innovative solutions and exceptional service to help independent investment advisors manage client portfolios with confidence.
Our team is focused on ensuring the highest standards of login security and user authentication for the application. We focus on developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure login systems including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and advanced encryption protocols.

The position involves a balanced mix of testing, and hands-on coding, focused on our mission-critical Schwab Advisor Services platform. This role requires a consistent track record as Full Stack Developer ensuring that software products are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

What you have
To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years’ experience in a software development role specifically using C# .NET.
Proficiency in PCF, Bamboo, Bitbucket and GitHub.
Prior experience with SQL, MongoDB, and Oracle or other relational or non-relational databases.
Strong experience with object-oriented programming concepts, design patterns, development, implementation including algorithms and data structures.
Strong experience writing unit, acceptance test driven development and integration tests.
Experience with service-based development technologies, micro-services, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architecture.
Strong technical writing and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders.
Exposure to online security, user authentication and authorization, security vulnerabilities and remediation.
Self-motivated with a passion for resolving technical problems quickly and in line with platform strategy and vision.
Experience and knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Ability work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective time management must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies.
Prior Financial Services experience is a plus.
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively across organizations and geographic locations.
