Job/Position DescriptionThis position is eligible for full-time telework within the state of TexasThe IT Policy and Process Special Projects Analyst performs advanced work with significant latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position leverages critical thinking, problem-solving, research, writing, meeting and workgroup facilitation, and communication skills to develop policies, processes, reports and other documentation that is accurate, easily understood and followed, and aligns with division strategy, state and federal compliance requirements, and business and best practices.The analystand#146;s work is focused on complex assignments that require the facilitation, development, and completion of multiple related assignments relevant to a business need or objective (such as a policy that requires multiple sub-processes to support it).Essential Job Functionsand#149;Identify, research, analyze, and apply to assignments information on laws, rules, regulations, business and best practices, and other relevant requirements to ensure documentation supports division strategy, effective delivery of services, and compliance with federal, state, and other requirements. (20%)and#149;Plan, schedule, and facilitate meetings, workgroups, and workshops (including customer journey mapping workshops) with appropriate stakeholders from all areas and levels of the organization to gather information necessary for assignments. (20%)and#149;Develop documentation that is complete, well organized, correct, easy for a lay person to read and follow, and accurately reflects roles and responsibilities, business and best practices, division strategy, expertise from stakeholders, and federal, state, and internal compliance requirements. (20%)and#149;Direct and organize tasks to meet established timeframes for assignments. (15%)and#149;Provide support for identifying, developing, and tracking training and other supports required for the successful implementation of assignments. (15%) and#149;Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify appropriate stakeholders to ensure assignments are properly socialized and supported by essential expertise.
