Job Summary:

St. David's Healthcare seeks a full-time acute care nurse practitioner or clinical nurse specialist to join a heart failure group in Austin, TX.

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified ACNP or CNS (No FNPs or PAs)

• Experience in cardiology is a plus

• Perform patient examinations in clinic and hospital setting

• Provide care and workup of patients

• Valid and active TX license

• Joining three APP's

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be confident in ability to make medical decisions

• Candidate should have excellent people skills as well as outstanding communication skills

• Must have the ability to teach patients and demonstrate competence in their field

• Inpatient/outpatient

• M-F, 8A – 5P

• No On-Call or Weekends
