FT Hybrid position: Work from your home 3 days per week, and a comfortable office environment up to 2 days per week, based on business needs.

We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist/Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the AP/AR Manager.
General Responsibility:
Proactively resolve customer cases and pursue customer collections.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Prepare, maintain, and update spreadsheets to track customer collection needs
Coordinate with internal Customer Service colleagues on collection efforts.
Manage collection process with an emphasis on customer service, including mailing letters and making phone calls to customers.
Process customer credit card payments.
Assist with various Accounts Receivable tasks.
Education:
Associate Degree in Accounting or Business (Preferred but not required)
High school diploma required
Experience/Qualifications:
1-3 years of similar experience
Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
Well organized, self-starter with a strong work ethic, professional attitude, and good time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and high-volume environment, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service
Effective communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Resident of the Austin, TX area
