Who we’re looking for

Toyota Chicago Region is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Regional Vehicle Product Training Specialist .

The primary responsibility of this role is to create and manage all product training for Toyota dealerships and Toyota Region Team members.

Reporting to the Product Sales & Engagement Manager, the person in this role will support the Chicago Region's objective to demonstrate qualities of leadership, business insight, initiative and strategic thinking.

What you’ll be doing

  • Creating custom training content, videos, presentations, and materials for product training.

  • Serve as subject matter experts answering and researching product and technology questions from dealership personnel.

  • Conducting in dealership training for dealership associates.

  • Working with dealerships on Toyota Certification program requirements, Recognition Programs and course fulfillment.

  • Coordinating, executing and presenting training for new model launches, SmartPath and selling/leadership skills.

What you bring

  • Be a learner and have an interest in growing your personal skills and abilities

  • Creative mindset and a willingness to take risks

  • Comfortable with presenting in front of large groups and using video

  • Willing to collaborate in a team environment, organized and enjoys teaching others

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business-related subject or equivalent professional work experience

  • Ability to travel up to 75% if needed

Added bonus if you have

  • Curriculum development experience

  • Video development and editing experience
