What is the job about?

We at Grundfos are looking for a Regional Training Manager to join our Domestic Building Services (DBS) Americas team.

In this role, you will have an important role in developing world-class application focused training content and educational experiences for our internal teams, customers, and industry partners. As a Regional Training Manager, you will focus on developing and delivering innovative training programs on the key applications that our domestic circulator and water pump portfolio supports.

You will own logistics, planning, course content and format for all the various training courses and other events in the U.S. You will also have an important part in assisting the Grundfos DBS division meet our sustainability goals and reach a net zero target.

This position will operate remotely out any location in the US, preferably from our office in Lenexa, KS.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Create an innovative training program on domestic heating, domestic hot water and boosting to provide industry leading educational content.

  • Development of training materials, including webinars, presentations, blogs, videos, online resources, and new innovative training experiences.

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for internal staff, clients, and industry stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with product management and development teams to stay updated on new pump technologies and developing future offerings.

  • Provide guidance and support to individuals or groups regarding our key applications.

  • Assess training needs and continuously update and improve training programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

  • Collect feedback and evaluate the impact of training sessions to make necessary improvements.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, related field, or equivalent experience in the heating or domestic hot water industry including hands-on experience.

  • 8+ years’ experience in a related field.

  • In-depth understanding of heating, domestic hot water and boosting applications.

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training programs, particularly in the hydronic industry.

  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an understandable manner.

  • Problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail in troubleshooting pump-related issues.

  • Experience in instructional design and content development for training purposes.

  • Organization skills, with great attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate across divisions, functions, and regions.

  • Comprehensive understanding of pumps, motors, variable frequency drives, and pumping systems.

  • Ability to distil complex concepts and training goals into compelling and understandable learning segments.

  • Skilled at balancing competing deadlines and projects.

  • Eagerness to learn.

  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time (domestic and international travel).
