The Training Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and coordinating training for assigned products or employee areas, as directed by the Wagner Training Institute (WTI) Manager in a manner that reflects the companys vision of working as One Professional Team. It is also responsible for serving as the liaison between WTI and the Wagner Equipment Co. managers, and external customers. In addition, this person will be responsible for writing quotes, invoicing, and sending marketing material for classes. This role will also be the lead administrator for our internal learning management system as well as dealer performance center. Pay Rate:$57,000.00 - $70,120.92 Annually Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience. Assists with creating a skills database and tracking training progress Helps coordinate the TCDP (Technician Career Development Plan) Assists WTI manager with learning management system utilization and maintenance Completes required paperwork for customers, keeps class rosters up to date, creates quotes and invoicing for classes, schedules classes, and coordinates delivery dates with instructors Serves as the administrative coordinator for DPC (Dealer Performance Center) Participates in scheduled department activities and becomes an active partner in planning effective strategy for WTI Works with key company personnel in developing class schedules Meets on a regular basis with Wagner Equipment Co. managers to review training needs for the shop technicians Communicates with external customers in developing and scheduling their training needs Markets WTI classes to outside customers Distributes relevant WTI class offering information to internal employees Attends needed classes to become proficient with the equipment listed under the General Responsibilities section Keeps informed with New Product Updates and sends relevant information to the appropriate people within our company Other duties as assigned by manager Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 1-3 years of technical experience with earthmoving equipment or gas engines and/or previous experience in a related vocational field (such as diesel or heavy equipment maintenance repair) 3-5 years administrative/clerical experience 3-5 years customer service experience Experience in writing quotes, invoicing, and scheduling preferred Experience using learning management systems preferred Physical Demands & Competencies: Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing Squatting/Kneeling Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc. Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, re soning, organizational, communication & math skills Safety & Product Knowledge Basic comprehension of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and machine components Technical Writing Skills Knowledge of developing marketing materials Basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Work Environment: Noise: Moderate Indoors and Outdoors Travel Requirements: 25- 50% Other Duties: Job Offers are contingent upon all required pre-employment screenings which may include but are not limited to background checks, drug/alcohol testing, fit for duty testing, and any other job-related tests/screenings.
