Tradeshow/Event coordination, marketing, execution and support of tradeshows, sales, and other corporate meetings and events. The position serves as a liaison between the Marketing Department and all divisions and departments that will be represented by or participate in said tradeshows, sales events, and on- or off-site activities. The position will also be responsible for making outbound prospect sales calls to targeted Retail and Small Core customers. The goal of is to establish or re- establish, qualify, and maintain contact with unassigned RSC customers to increase parts and service sales. Pay Rate:$57,000.00 - $70,120.92 Annually Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience. Tradeshow/Event Coordination, Logistics, and Execution Prepare expenditure and budget reports Coordination of food preparation and or catering Take ownership and maintenance of grill and tailgate vehicle Build and maintain annual tradeshow and event calendar Prepares and files appropriate registration paperwork, forms and payments Prepares briefing document and communicates with internal teams and leadership Manages Marketing Department tradeshow and event inventory. (Tables/Chairs/Tents/Etc.) Serves as liaison to Caterpillar for local or regional events and tradeshows Travels to show sites for set-up and break-down Evaluates methods for driving customer attendance to shows/events prior to show via email, mail, phone etc. Collaborates with machine inventory contacts to reserve necessary equipment to be displayed at shows and events. Makes targeted marketing only unassigned customer sales calls when not engaged with Tradeshow/Event activities. Maintains and updates accurate customer account information and machine population data Tracks specific account, territory and sales goals using Saleslink Passes parts, service, sales and rental requests to the appropriate ISR or field sales representative Establishes and grows value added, consultative relationships with our customers Develops strong positive relationships with our outside sales representatives and ISRs Employs a disciplined phone call campaign, making a predefined number of calls per day Qualifies accounts, and begins to develop the customer relationship Targets specific customers for sales and promotions Promotes all aspects of the Dealership by promoting sales, parts, service, rental, and Customer Value Agreements for all products and services represented by Wagner Equipment & Wagner Rents Performs simple needs analysis to determine individual customer's needs and provide solutions to fit those needs Knows and can communicate effectively about various Dealer products and services Other duties as assigned: Produ e advertisements and promotions Makes and distributes internal signage (holiday closures, branch retail displays) Assist with distribution of annual hat order, calendars, and other marketing collateral to sales reps and branches at the direction of Senior Data Coordinator. Etc. Required Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED College degree preferred Physical Demands & Competencies: Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing Physically active work that requires walking, lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds. Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills Safety & Product Knowledge Some knowledge of: Marketing Concepts Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook Adobe Creative Suite/InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator experience preferred Travel Requirements: up to 50%.
