Job Overview

The Sleep & EEG Supervisor is responsible for managing a department by implementing and maintaining specific policies, procedures, and guidelines; leading team members in providing direct patient care by demonstrating expert clinical knowledge; ensuring compliance with quality and safety initiatives and practices; and partnering with a multidisciplinary team in meeting the clinical needs of patients and families. The Sleep & EEG Supervisor also provides leadership and management to department team members and assumes responsibility for staffing levels, materials management and space utilization to meet the patient care, training and fiscal needs of the division. Finally, the Sleep & EEG Supervisor serves as the primary clinical liaison with families and referring providers, facilitating exemplary customer service/responsiveness, assisting with complex clinical triage/new referral scheduling and other custom

Department: Neurophysiology Lab Hours per week: 40, eligible for benefits Shift: 24/7 department leadership roll.

Qualifications

EDUCATION - Associates degree in a relevant field and/or graduate of a CAAHEP Accredited Program. EXPERIENCE - Five years of clinical experience in a pediatric setting. EQUIVALENCY - In lieu of a Associates degree, one year of professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education. CERTIFICATION(S) -BLS/CPR, and/or PALS certifications as required by credential. LICENSURE - Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and/or Registered Polysomnography Tech (RPSGT) and/or Registered EEG Tech (REEGT) + 1 (CLTM/ REPT/CNIM)
