JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the CEC Products team, the Director, Customer Engagement Center & Property Reservations Products will manage and lead a group of technologies that support key channel management capabilities for properties and Customer Engagement Centers to support multi-channel customer sales experience. Specifically, the Salesforce (Empower) platform, reservation system (ResApp). The Director will bridge technical and business worlds as technologies are designed to meet business needs. They will work closely with key stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of enhancements and/or new capabilities from conception to launch, understanding the implications of certain decisions and make trade-offs in terms of complexity, depth, and timelines.

The Director is the CEC & Property Reservations Product evangelist and subject matter expert and serves as the “go to leader” for timely updates to internal and, where applicable, external customers.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience Preferred

• 4-year degree from an accredited university in from an accredited university in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related major and 6+ years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance.

OR

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience in marketing or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.

• At least two years prior experience working on Marriott ResApp Integrations as part of the Marriott Growth Platform initiative.

• Expertise and proven record of accomplishment in managing complex, multifunctional initiatives.

• Experience in providing direction and performing responsibilities via influence ability

• Proven success in introducing change to complex organizations.

• Experience in international business environments preferred.

• Solid record of accomplishment of advancing business direction and strategies.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Provide product management leadership for Customer Engagement Systems from strategic planning to tactical activities related to ongoing optimization & continuous improvement.

• Effectively translate technology & process opportunities into quantifiable results.

• Manage the product feature cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

• Document requirements for current and future products and develop the associated business case for new investments.

• Ensure all deliverables meet Marriott standards and enterprise-wide project management standards for system design, implementation, and production.

• Enable communications for internal executives and constituents for product rollouts and provide escalation support for triaging production issues.

• Achieve results against budget within the scope of responsibility.

• Lead procurement efforts as needed (e.g., new tools, new vendors), write statements of work and manage external vendors.

• Benchmark comparable organizations while building deep understanding of our customer profiles/ needs, plus business strategies and needs for growth.

• Facilitate strong working relationships with team members and business sponsors to deliver exceptional product solutions.

• Respond to, solve, and makes decisions on business requests, brand requests and hotel requests. Present solutions, leveraging work in progress.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $245,238 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $222,943 annually.

Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $133,766 to $245,238 annually.

New York Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $245,238 annually.

Washington Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $110,550 to $245,238 annually. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
