You will join our Platform/Operating Systems team who are on a mission to create the best boat system platforms for our customers bridging hardware and software integration contributing to Navico Group's NEON platform stack, enabling great experiences on the water.

You will be part of this established team of innovative and inspired engineers who will help make this possible. We are committed to providing an outstanding boating experience for our customers in comfort, economy and race/performance on any vessel from small power to large sail (and everything in between).

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in the full software development life cycle

• Working on requirement gathering, technical development as well as testing and quality assurance.

• Contribute creatively bringing innovative problem solving and troubleshooting experience.

• Employing strong analytical and critical problem-solving skills to solve complex problems and collaborating widely to get the best solution.

Skills/Experience Requirements

• A strong background in Java, Kotlin and App development

• 2+ years software development experience

• Experience with Android system

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent

• Great communication skills both verbal and written

• Agile experience from a product development organization

• AOSP domain knowledge

• Experience with SDK and API design

• Network protocols such as TCP/IP
