Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated, customer-obsessed professional to provide hands-on support to our Data Centre Security team in Auckland.

As a Data Center Security Manager, you will be tasked with running day-to-day data centre security operations, supporting and executing security projects and programs, as well as assuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage security operations at an AWS Data Center

• Direct contract guard force operations

• Manage security incidents and conduct post-incident investigations

• Support business continuity responses to crises and emergencies

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working in a physical security operations position

• Demonstrated knowledge of physical security best practices which includes the application of physical security systems, investigation techniques and management of contract security guards

• Demonstrable experience managing security operations in complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high security environment

• Conflict resolution training

• Budget management
