Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager - Manufacturing is responsible for strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting and business development in the manufacturing business sector. Key metrics for the Business Development Managers' success include achievement of quality bookings in alignment with annual corporate goals. Qualified candidates for the position will have exceptional oral and written communication skills and be equally comfortable and effective leading diverse teams and working one-on-one. Interpersonal skills are critical, as are demonstrable management, mentoring and leadership experiences.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree and 8- 10 years experience in a related field (degree included) Demonstrated competence in business development Knowledge of and experience in business management, strategic planning, leadership and financial management Experience using cost and schedule estimating systems Experience in leading diverse teams in challenging environments Ability to lead and manage in a collaborative and communicative style while ensuring alignment with and accountability to company objectives
