Overview
Support Now is an essential sub-department of Field Operations. We provide support to our corporate users and quick-service restaurants by making it easy for our Operators, Team Members, and Staff to get answers, solve problems and identify opportunities. We measure success by the speed, accuracy, and experience we provide. The services we offer include general business support, IT and operation support, systems and application support, networking support, and many other technologies that are utilized by our Franchisees. We also focus on continuous improvement, strategy and insights to make things better for today and where Chick-fil-A is headed tomorrow.
This role will function as a portfolio leader for the Support Now department, collaborating with functional leaders/teams and senior leadership within the department. This role will lead a team of project and change management professionals. The primary objective of this role will be to develop tools and processes that allow functions and sub teams to manage and track the progress of their initiatives and develop materials that allow the Support Now Leadership Team to make decisions based on the progress of the work. The role will be a thought leader that will aggregate information from across Support Now and internal partners within Chick-fil-A and provide insight on potential risks, tradeoffs, and dependencies. In addition, this leader will work to optimize the planning process within Support Now to enable a timely decision-making capability.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of project and change management professionals
Create tools and processes that enable robust program management capabilities across Support Now
Utilize external expertise to develop a comprehensive program management execution plan
Develop training to inform key stakeholders of process changes
Provide business requirements gathering support
Work with the Program Leads across Support Now and in other departments to create a process driven culture that leverages the PMO tools and system to drive decision making
Be an active coach for department leaders specific to Program Management
Foster a growth-mindset culture as part of Support Now
Provide thought leadership to functional leaders and key stakeholders on the output of the annual plan throughout the year
Provide thought leadership to functional leaders and key stakeholders on the output of the Support Now 2030 plan
Coordinate programs between multiple teams without directly managing them
Utilizes techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling programs
Manage external partners and consultants to drive project progress and completion
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
8+ years minimum work experience
Large-scale project or program management experience
Project Management Certification (PMP) and/or large-scale portfolio management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
5+ portfolio/program management leadership experience
Cross-functional program/portfolio management experience
People leadership experience
Portfolio or Program management certifications (PgMP or PfMP)
Agile Certification
Lean Six Sigma Certification
Experience in a cross functional program management role
Systems thinking
Ability to build and maintain trust-based, collaborative relationships and influence others
Self-starter with natural tendency to take initiative and work independently
Proven experience managing multiple priorities and anticipating needs
Strong judgment and critical thinking skills
Excellent written, verbal, analytical and communication skills
Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office software
Strong proficiency in project management/program management processes, tools, and systems
Comfortable learning new software/systems
