Job Summary

Papa Johns Corporate Affairs team leads the company’s Corporate Responsibility strategy in partnership with teams across the business, creating value by engaging team members, franchisees and other stakeholders, strengthening brand and reputation, and make a positive impact in our communities.

The Senior Manager Social Impact leads and executes the Papa Johns Foundation’s community engagement strategy and framework. This role is responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships, raising awareness and driving alignment and collaboration across teams, and impact measurement and reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Build and manage relationships with national and local nonprofit partners and identify and vet new partners for consideration.

  • Manage and oversee all programmatic and operational aspects of the Papa Johns Foundation, including managing requests for funding and issuing grants through third-party platform. Partner with Financial Reporting and external partners on annual audit.

  • Lead the Papa Johns Foundation’s Building Community Fund, our annual local community grant program in collaboration with franchisees, including raising awareness across the franchisee network and providing application support to franchisees and their teams..

  • Create and lead volunteer programs and opportunities that foster a culture of belonging, including annual Week of Service and relevant moments throughout the year (e.g., Hunger Action Month). Lead planning and logistics for partner events.

  • Support engagement with the Foundation’s Board of Directors, including semi-annual Board meetings and communications throughout the year.

  • Partner with Internal and External Communications teams to develop compelling stories and content that highlight Papa Johns social impact partnerships, commitments and progress.

  • Collaborate with DEI team to ensure partners, programs and sponsorships align with our DEI commitments and priorities.

  • Liaise with stakeholders across the business to support fundraising campaigns for the Foundation and evaluate and recommend new fundraising opportunities.

  • Develop and manage tools and capabilities for impact tracking, data collection and internal/external reporting and communications.

  • Monitor social impact best practices and trends to provide insights and benchmarking about community investment opportunities and identify new opportunities.

  • Represent Papa Johns and the Papa Johns Foundation at external events.
