Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Associate Medical Director of the Atlanta University Center Consortium ( AUCC ) Student Health and Wellness Center ( SHWC ), the primary role of the Coordinator will be to oversee, manage, and maintain the AUCC - SHWC immunization compliance program. The Coordinator will also assist with vaccine compliance for student Travel Abroad Programs.
The Coordinator will assist with other administrative duties for the AUCC - SHWC including tracking external referrals, assisting with medical records management for the AUCC - SHWC (in collaboration with the Morehouse Healthcare medical records director), and obtaining prior authorizations and insurance approvals.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION :
Minimum of an associate degree in business administration, nursing, or related field. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
EXPERIENCE :
A minimum of one (1) year of experience administering vaccinations, vaccine schedules and titers
Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office along with database software experience, Quest, Sharepoint, DropBox.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an ambulatory setting.

Job Duties
Description of Job Duty
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain immunization compliances for AUCC schools to include:
Continuous verification of immunization records for students at the AUCC
Generate reports for partnered schools regarding immunization compliance
Communicate with students, parents, staff at AUCC schools, providers regarding immunization compliances
Attend New Student Orientation as needed to speak with incoming students and parents regarding compliance requirements
Create efficiencies to improve the immunization compliance program
Run Quality Improvement initiatives in the clinic in collaboration with other staff
Conduct follow-up calls to patients regarding referrals
Obtain progress notes from referral organizations as needed
Obtain Prior Authorizations and insurance approvals for procedures done in clinic
Schedule radiology appointments as needed
Provide medical records to patients and outside providers as requested, following institutional policies regarding the release of medical records
Participate in annual strategic planning for the clinic
Assist providers with registration and renumeration processes for attendance at medical conferences
Plan and maintain on-call schedules for providers
Manage invoices for the clinic
Participate in meetings related to clinic finances
Input new vendors into invoice management system
Assist with other administrative duties and tasks as assigned

Immunization Requirements
It is MSM’s Immunization policy that all Prospective Employees are required to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID -19 prior to commencement of employment. If employment will commence during Flu Season, MSM requires all individuals to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless granted an exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain an exemption from MSM will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
