Make your mark in Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory
Our Global Legal, Compliance and Regulatory (GLCR) team provides first class advice to colleagues and functions across the organization – ensuring AIG navigates an ever-changing landscape that spans state, federal, and international lines. The team has a multi-dimensional impact, from helping avoid legal exposure to collaborating with other functions to develop cutting-edge new products.
Primary responsibilities for this position include:
Assisting with the preparation, review and maintenance of transactional documents and agreements, including NDAs and other ancillary agreements, and legal notices.
Preparing and managing reports on significant legal matters.
Assisting with coordinating responses to subpoenas and document requests with North America commercial business units.
Collecting, compiling, and organizing legal documentation for attorney review.
Researching and summarizing laws, regulations, and legal decisions and articles.
Organizing and managing documents, including creating summary spreadsheets.
Compiling information and preparing statistics, charts, graphs, and other summaries to detail findings.
Using legal software and databases to assist lawyers and clients.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Degree and/or Paralegal certificate are ideal. Law school experience is a plus;
3 or more years of experience as a Paralegal is desirable;
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other databases;
Must possess excellent communication skills - written and verbal;
Must be collaborative, highly organized, able to multi-task, deadline oriented, and able to interact with senior leaders in an organization.
