Aerotek Maintenance Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to manage maintenance procedures, carry out inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and resolve issues, and ensure that all electrical and hydraulic systems are functional. The role involves planning and overseeing all repair and installation activities, monitoring equipment inventory, managing relationships with contractors and service providers, and maintaining logs and reports on daily activities. Compliance with health and safety policies is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process and performing other tasks or duties as assigned.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret design blueprints

  • Experience in manufacturing

  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and program CNC machining

  • At least 1 year of industrial equipment maintenance experience

  • Ability to repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues

  • Basic hydraulic knowledge

  • Knowledge of 480 and 120v controls

  • Ability to wire up a 480v motor

  • Ability to use a multimeter

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Atlanta, Georgia.

Work Environment

Non climate controlled environment. Shift: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 2 Saturdays a month.
