Position Overview

CRH Americas Materials is looking for a financially minded, process focused individual to join our team as a Asset Management Analyst. The role of the Asset Management Analyst is to support, manage, and administer contracts for software and application services and products across the organization. This includes overseeing technology spend on licenses, managing a repository of application licenses, and identifying areas for cost savings, process improvement and customer experience improvements based on contract administration, service level management and user application usage. Asset Management Analyst will also track and follow through on product/license delivery within budget and ensure licensing compliance. This position reports to the Vendor and Asset Management Manager.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Create the strategy and develop processes and procedures for licensing: administration, change management, and best practices which best protects company interests (compliance and cost). Compile and maintain inventory of company software and hardware assets for the purpose of tracking their corresponding compliance. Develop and manage ongoing processes to track and allocate licenses to each operating company / division. Develop and manage ongoing processes to track hardware to each operating company / division. Monitor licenses for compliance with purchases/agreements and alignment with organizational requirements, including follow-up checks for corrective action. Ensure that any new software deployed follows established software license management processes. Work with IT management and procurement team to optimize software licensing agreements, identify potential savings areas, manage software product contracts, and create automated processes to facilitate hardware/software procurement/deployment. Identify savings opportunities for enterprise agreements and agreement renewals of software licensing and services. Advise and define license recommendations that support business goals, in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Establish and maintain regular written and in-person communications with the organization's business executives, IT leadership, and end users regarding pertinent licensing activities and best practices. Work with sourcing team to review and maintain contract renewals and maintenance. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience College degree in IT or Finance preferred or 3 years' work experience in IT, Procurement or Finance related field ITIL Foundation or CSAM certification required Financial knowledge and experience a plus

Work Requirements Must be 18 years in age or older. Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required. Ability to travel as required based on business needs up to 25%.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements Ability to effectively work and communicate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities -business leaders, finance leaders, peers, vendors, staff members. Ability to present ideas in concise, business-friendly and user-friendly language. Must possess organizational skills, be an independent thinker, and have the ability to multitask. Demonstrate a hands-on, collaborati e approach; works well in a team. Demonstrates strong oral / written communication and listening skills. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently by effectively leveraging provided tools. Ability to understand customers' need and concerns and be able to customize services and products as appropriate. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of The Microsoft Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office Suite (including Office 365), Mobile devices, VPN, and Networking a plus. Ability to create and optimize processes (Six Sigma, Lean, etc. a plus).
