An international insurance organization has an immediate need for an insurance defense attorney licensed in Georgia. The office handles personal injury and property damage cases for both commercial and personal lines. This is a hybrid role with 2 days in office in Brookhaven and 3 days remote. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) temporary role with the potential for an extension. This position requires 3+ years of relevant experience, along with a license to practice law in Georgia.

salary: $40 - $55 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

In this role you will handle bodily injury auto torts, property damage claims, commercial auto claims and premises liability litigation.

Primary duties include:

(i) tasks associated with the discovery process (e.g., taking depositions, preparing interrogatories, drafting discovery requests, reviewing medical records, etc.);

(ii) drafting pleadings and motions;

(iii) case evaluations;

(iv) arbitration and mediation
