Job Title: Environmental Project ManagerJob Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of environmental projects including investigation and remediation from preliminary assessment to remediation and long-term O&M at various sites such as leaking UST, chlorinated solvent plumes, Brownfield properties, and asbestos abatement/demolition. The role involves supervising project engineers, geologists/scientists, engineers, field technicians, site supervisors, and craft labor during project execution. This is a full-time, salary exempt position.

Hard Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Geology

• 10+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting and remediation

• 5+ years of experience managing environmental assessment, remediation, and/or long-term O&M projects

• Strong aptitude in project financials and negotiating changes with clients

Soft Skills

• Leadership and team management

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Atlanta, Georgia and some days remote.

Work Environment

Primarily an office/managerial role based in the Atlanta Area, with the option to work remotely from the southeast for candidates with strong experience. Must be open to travel up to 25% for project sites, client meetings, conferences, and office visits in Atlanta, with reimbursed travel expenses.
