You are: An experienced Blue Yonder TMS Solution Architect-Senior Manager with a drive to succeed and a desire to learn, that will develop and grow our TMS business for the Blue Yonder platform.

Supply Chain Connected Solutions specifically houses individuals who help clients develop strategies and operating models that integrate planning, procurement, product design, manufacturing, and fulfillment (WMS, TMS) functions within an organization, as well as connect suppliers and customers across the extended supply chain.

The Accenture Technology Supply Chain team is seeking a Blue Yoder TMS Architect to develop and grow our transportation solution business for the Blue Yonder platform.

Supply Chain Transportation professionals develop and implement integrated Transportation solutions that improve cost efficiency, increase business effectiveness, and create synergies and collaboration across companies.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses, and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility

  • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals.

  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or collaborates well within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.

  • Has some latitude in decision-making.

  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.

  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility.

  • Serve as the chief planner/architect for SCP Transportation solution initiative

  • Define/Design logistics/network strategy for Clients to support client’s transportation operations and is aimed to achieve a defined business outcome

  • Ensure that the delivery architecture, capabilities, and operations are consistent across the enterprise and meet the requirements and

  • Drive team to configure the system to support business requirements, design/configure different seeded resources

  • Drive team to Perform end to end testing including performance testing

  • Drives team to the adoption of standard business supply chain logistics practices.

  • Provide knowledge of integrating Blue Yonder transportation with host ERP and other planning systems for both Inbound and Outbound Interfaces, workflows, Query development, preparation of detailed functional specifications.

  • Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Blue Yonder TMS Tool as Solution Architect and at least three years of BY TMS implementation experience across industries

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain transportation and logistics

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing mid to large sized staffs and projects

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent (minimum 6-year work experience)

Nice to have:

  • Experience of leading technical design for inbound / outbound processes

  • Advance knowledge of Blue Yonder TMS solutions configuration approaches

  • Expertise in integration (ongoing closed loop) to major ERP and planning solution such as BY ESP or Kinaxis or o9

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

    Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.     Colorado $131,000 to $261,300

    District of Columbia $139,600 to $278,200
