Momar is looking for a Business Operations Analyst!

Job Summary:

Reporting to the COO, the Business Operations Analyst works closely with various departments to ensure alignment with company goals and to support decision-making processes.The Business Operations Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the operational and strategic objectives of the organization. This position involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to optimize operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and analyses.
  • Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Develop recommendations for process enhancements and collaborate with teams to implement changes.
  • Monitor the impact of process improvements and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely completion, adherence to scope, and compliance with budget.
  • Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, track progress, and report on project status.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Provide analytical support to various departments, including operations, finance, marketing, sales, manufacturing, purchasing, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational effectiveness.
  • Support the development and execution of operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Analyze financial data and operational performance to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Prepare business cases and feasibility studies for new initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on objectives.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between business units to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with data visualization tools and business intelligence software.
  • Experience with ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a business analyst or operations analyst role.
  • Experience in process improvement, project management, or strategic analysis preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to routinely lift and/or move 10 lbs. unassisted.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, see, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
