Equifax is consistently growing and we are adding a dynamic player to the Legal Customer Transactions Team supporting our US Information Solutions business unit. As Assistant General Counsel you will manage complex sales transactions by drafting, negotiating, identifying issues, and partnering with stakeholders on the execution of a variety of outbound sales contracts for financial services data and technology products.

What you'll do: Consult with US Information Solutions leaders, sales, and other stakeholders on customer facing transactions within the standard Equifax business and risk framework Concisely communicate the identification of issues and solutions to stakeholders and customers Execute drafting and negotiation of complex customer facing commercial agreements, including master services agreements, statements of work, licenses, non-disclosure agreements, and other supporting documents Manage competing priorities and to multitask in a fast paced, demanding environment Consistently demonstrate ability to exercise sound, practical business judgment while working autonomously Proactively conceptualize and articulate pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions to complex legal and business challenges Work cross-functionally on projects and initiatives to promote continuous improvement of Legal service delivery within EFX Negotiate, document and provide strategic direction on a wide range of sophisticated, complex enterprise deals, as well as legal support on matters arising in day-to-day operations. Interact directly and frequently with business leaders and provide excellent support on key business initiatives . Have the ability to build strong relationships and share Information openly to effectively collaborate with business leaders, other in-house attorneys and various stakeholders within the company. Collaborate effectively with a team of highly competent contract managers to resolve escalated legal and contract questions. Ability to proactively identify legal and regulatory issues effectively resolving sensitive issues with a sense of urgency and handling difficult situations efficiently and diplomatically. Be willing to take on department projects and initiatives designed to improve legal service delivery within the enterprise. Support internal projects, training, and processes, and drive cross-functional efforts.

What experience you need Law degree from ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing of any state bar 5 years of relevant experience Experience drafting and negotiating contracts
