Job Summary

The Analyst 2 will work to support the Central Division’s Forecast & Pace team in all residential forecast-related deliverables. This role will work alongside a Sr. Analyst to support the Sr. Manager of Forecast & Pace in delivering timely and accurate forecasts for Comcast’s suite of residential products and services. In addition to monitoring and evaluating daily performance trends and month-end pacing, this role will play a critical role in helping to identify, summarize, and present forecast-related risk, opportunities, and any corresponding recommended revisions to leadership, cross-functional teams, and relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, the Analyst 2 will be essential in supporting all processes related to the uploading of forecast revisions, ensuring changes are timely, accurate, and reflected as intended. Successful candidates will have a high level of attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to increase process efficiencies, especially as it relates to forecast-related processes.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Use existing dashboards and reporting to monitor and evaluate daily subscriber trends, extract information, and identify key performance drivers.

  • Research and analyze industry trends, identifying potential risk and opportunities as they relate to business objectives.

  • Makes recommendations based on analysis and findings.

  • Work closely with larger performance insights team to understand macro & micro trends impacting subscriber performance, products, and related services.

  • Proactive communication with stakeholders and partners on subscriber performance in close partnership with Sr. Manager as needed.

  • Respond to ad-hoc questions as raised on subscriber performance, products, and related services.

  • Maintain and update forecast-related supporting documents and models.

  • Understand and apply various statistical concepts, research data, standards, and practices.

  • Support the annual budget, including data research and analysis, upload processes, and assembly of presentation deliverables.

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations outlining subscriber performance as needed, working directly with cross-functional teams and department leadership to create presentations and summaries.

  • Participates in meetings, training programs, and conferences as directed.

  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
