Job Description

This role oversees ideation, development and execution (project management at times) of RPS Credit Card experiences. Experiences flow through apply, onboarding and engagement journeys with an emphasis on Business Credit Card.

In addition, recommends revisions and enhancements across all three RPS Business units. Is responsible for driving innovative solutions and capabilities across the credit card acquisition lifecycle to drive growth, and engagement. Responsibilities include clear articulation of market trends, data driven decision making, solutioning across multiple platforms, partners, and products, and driving innovative new experiences that will improve our market position, customer satisfaction and engagement.

Responsibilities span our Retail Payment Solutions lines of business and include both debit and credit card within U.S. Bank Brand, Elan agent FI business and our co-brand/partner businesses. In addition, this position will be the primary point of contact for critical strategic initiatives relating to credit card acquisition, will provide leadership for critical cross business initiatives and partner with Retail Payment Solutions (RPS)Operations teams to deliver innovative, customer-focused, and compelling improvements.

Specifically, this leader will:

  • Drive the delivery of a new innovative card acquisition platform

  • Demonstrate the ability to develop and lead a multi-faceted growth strategy effectively and efficiently, with the right balance of customer-focus, innovation, and profitability

  • Serve as a ‘thought leader’ around consumer insights and competitive trends associated with acquisition and onboarding

  • Have a keen understanding of underlying business drivers, with the ability to drive strategy in partnership with lines of business and operations

  • Help drive RPS’ digital experience investments, priorities, and results

We are looking for a seasoned leader with increasing card management, product management, product development responsibility and acquisition & onboarding experience. A strong customer focus with demonstrated creative thinking and innovation in the financial services space is necessary for success. Credit card partnership experience (in the retail co-brand space) is highly valued. Highly polished written and oral presentation skills, strong facilitation skills and the ability to work in a matrixed organization are required.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Typically, five to seven years of relevant experience, advanced product management experience or similar experience

  • Strong project management experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Highly preferred credit card experience with the emphasis on digital experience and onboarding journey

  • Product management skills

  • Ability to present in front of all levels of leadership and stakeholders

Location:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside of the location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $129,455.00 - $152,300.00 - $167,530.00
