About the job:

We are looking for an organized, efficient Sales Coordinator to be responsible for administrative duties and assisting the sales department in gaining and keeping customers. The Sales Coordinator's responsibilities include tracking sales leads, coordinating quotes with sales contracts, maintaining price lists and trade terms, providing customer service, and managing customer accounts. The Sales Coordinator is also responsible for monitoring sales and the performance of the sales team as well as recording sales data.

To be a successful Sales Coordinator, you should have good time management and organizational skills. You should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills as well as being tech savvy.

The position is based in Athens, Greece.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answering customer inquiries, and following up with customers about their order status.

  • Support Sales Managers in the following sales tasks: Customer demand forecasting, Price List Management, Contract Management, solving pricing issues / invoice queries, actively manage aged stock list and push sales directly or through account team

  • Handle customer creation requests and enter sample requests in the CRM platform (SalesForce.com) and check that they have been executed in a timely basis

  • Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in sales, marketing, finance, supply and logistics) to ensure that sales administration activities are integrated with other parts of the business and appropriate for current and future sales and marketing activities

  • Understanding and monitoring main Sales KPIs and trends and liaising with Sales managers to develop sales strategies.

  • Supporting Customer Care department in creating and processing orders in a timely manner, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.

  • Monitor the status of sales administration activities to identify problem areas and adapt procedures to improve the overall performance of the team

About you:

  • Diploma / Bachelor Degree in a economics/marketing/commercial subject or equivalent vocational education

  • Experience in a Sales Environment

  • SAP & CRM experience preferred but not a must

  • The ability to multitask and quickly switch your focus.

  • Computer literacy, IT skills, and typing skills.

  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management software and data analysis

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Knowledge of sales practices and the most efficient customer service techniques

  • Ability to pay strong attention to detail

  • Fluent in English both written and oral

  • Fluent in local language (Greek)
