Robert Half Full Charge Bookkeeper in Asheville, North Carolina

Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. In this role, you will manage the daily accounting and financial operations for multiple clients, utilizing QuickBooks Online. You will be expected to maintain and update financial records, handle accounts receivable and payable, prepare and review financial statements, and interact effectively with clients to ensure their financial needs are met.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and update financial records for multiple clients on a daily basis

• Record and complete the posting process for day-to-day financial transactions

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly

• Oversee accounts receivable by invoicing clients and following up on overdue accounts

• Handle accounts payable by processing vendor bills and ensuring timely payments

• Prepare and review financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

• Generate customized financial reports as required by clients

• Set up and maintain QuickBooks Online accounts for clients and resolve any issues within the software

• Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide regular updates

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for all clients

• Utilize various skills including Accounting Software Systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Billing Functions, Quickbooks Online. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role

• Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• In-depth knowledge of accounting functions

• Experience managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in conducting bank reconciliations

• Experience with billing functions

• Proficiency in using Quickbooks Online

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
