CASCADE SURVEYING Survey AutoCAD Technician in ARLINGTON, Washington
Cascade Surveying & Engineering is currently looking for a full time Survey AutoCAD Technician. This position involves working with land surveyors, civil engineers, clients and consultants on residential, commercial, and municipal survey projects. Duties include drafting of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, preparation of construction computation sheets, calculation of section breakdowns, interpreting and organizing field survey notes and data, processing data from GPS technology, preparing construction stake-outs, performing calculations and closures, preparing preliminary and final subdivision maps as well as other maps from a variety of documents and data, and detailed record keeping. In addition, candidate must have the ability to research public property and survey records and prepare and interpret legal descriptions. Candidate will primarily provide support to the survey manager, but will be required to work on field survey crews as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in land surveying
- Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3d
- Basic mathematical and computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
- Ability to perform tasks with high degree of accuracy and quality of results
- Good written and oral communication skills
WA State Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- LSIT certification completed or in progress
- Experience working on a survey field crew and in the office
- Knowledge of land use applications
- Interest in advancing through continued education
