Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for performing the daily processing of inbound/outbound shipments and keeping records of all products shipped and received. Develop shipping documents and ensure all orders have been filled correctly. Responsibilities:
- Assure inbound trucks have proper documentation and verify incoming shipments through physical counts
- Order truck and rail cars for shipment
- Track demurrage reasons related to rail cars
- Process outbound shipments in a timely manner and assure proper documentation and correctness of material involved including a photo log
- Consolidate paper flow from yard and post correct information to proper location or person
- Monitor shipments to ensure that customer specific requirements are met
- Participate and contribute to company safety program
- Perform other related duties as assigned
