The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Human Resource Analyst to provide support to our government customer in Arlington, Virginia.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Plan and coordinate human resources activities of an organization (e.g. recruitment, onboarding, off boarding, etc.) to support the Government.

  • Compile and maintain personnel records.

  • Responsible for successful coordination of Program Office Navy System Access Requests (SAAR-N) process. Must be familiar with the process of creating and submitting for approval.

  • Fully coordinate command documentation such as briefs and written / digital correspondence for Senior Executive review/approval

  • May provide expertise for other human resources areas (e.g. employee benefits, retirement, performance management, equal employment opportunity, etc.)

  • Interpret and provide recommendations to the Government upon reviewing human resources governance (e.g. laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures) critical to the classification and recruitment process.

  • Provide support for efforts related to sponsorship/welcome/orientation programs such as coordinating these events, preparing for events, and facilitating meetings as required.

  • Prepare, update, maintain, and track training curriculum to satisfy position requirements.

  • Prepare, update, and maintain records of positions and position assignments.

  • Support activities related to employee relations, equal opportunity, employee benefits, retirement, and performance management.

  • Facilitate Common Access Card (CAC) processing, to include providing support as a result of contract expirations and/or new contract awards.

  • Leverage government tools such as the Total Workforce Management System and Defense Civilian Personnel Data System to complete assigned duties.

  • Develop, update, and maintain organizational charts.

  • Conduct review of internal instructions, directives, and standard operating procedures and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Other duties assigned by Supervisor.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION :

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum three (3) years’ experience or Associate’s Degree plus four (4+) years of additional relevant work experience (seven 7 years total minimum work experience.)

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Ability to learn and apply technical concepts to assigned duties.

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and data mining skills.

  • Excellent oral and written skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Active SECRET clearance required.
