Description We are in the process of recruiting a Collections Specialist based in Arlington, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity within the telecom industry. The Collections Specialist will primarily be responsible for processing credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and managing delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Handle incoming credit applications, ensuring they are reviewed for accuracy and completeness.

• Establish credit lines based on the auto-approval process or refer accounts for further review.

• Manage a high volume of customer inquiries within the shared email inbox.

• Release credit holds and initiate timely refund requests.

• Perform data entry of accounts and archive credit application documents, communicating decision status.

• Maintain file records of the customer master database.

• Update account status records and collection efforts for accurate reporting.

• Provide reporting as needed and take on occasional special projects.

• Leverage skills in B2B collections, billing collection, collecting payments, corporate credit, and credit - collections to perform duties effectively.

This role requires a strong familiarity with credit extension, professional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive data with a high degree of confidentiality. Requirements • Experience in B2B collections is required

• Proficiency in Billing Collection and Collecting Payments

• Familiarity with Collections - Commercial

• Knowledge of Corporate Credit practices

• Experience in Credit - Collections will be advantageous

• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information discreetly

• Proficiency in using relevant computer applications and software

• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

• Strong customer service skills

• Proven ability to meet and exceed set targets.
