Job Title: Controls Automation Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic Custom Automation company as an Controls Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating electrical schematics using AutoCAD or your preferred software. You will be responsible for programming Fanuc Robots to bring them online. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively, program Bradley PLC family, and work with RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000 Logix. Additionally, your responsibilities will include HMI, PLC, & VFD programming and troubleshooting, working with AC and DC drives and motor controllers, selecting motors for precision and torque, and handling XY tables, linear actuators, indexing machines, and drive controls. Experience in robot programming, especially with Fanuc and Bradley, is also required.

Hard Skills

  • Fanuc Robot programming

  • Electrical schematics creation using AutoCAD

  • Programming Bradley PLC family

  • RSLogix 500

  • Studio 5000 Logix

  • HMI, PLC, & VFD programming and troubleshooting

  • AC and DC drives and motor controller experience

  • Motor selection

  • XY tables, linear actuators, indexing machines, and drives controls

Soft Skills
