Job duties Prepare and mix custom-made meals for the mink using frozen meat by-product from beef, pork, and avian species, as well as byproducts from human food production including cheese, lunch meats, frozen foods, and other prepackaged food to create a protein-based diet for mink. Ensure mink animals are fed pursuant to custom designed excel feed program. Keep current inventory of feed and report to supervisor. Clean and disinfect feed processing equipment and other building cleanliness. Operate and maintain feed mixing equipment, such as grinder and mixer. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Operate a forklift to move feed pallets. Need to be able to follow measurements and have basic understanding of excel. In the winter months, use nutritional changes to prepare mink for the reproduction season. Employer will provide housing located near worksite.

Requirements One year experiences a mink caretaker or any occupation caring for an feeding minks.

Specific Skills Must be able to:

• Follow written instructions and measurements;
• Operate forklift;
• Use weight scales in pounds and grams;
• Lift 60 pounds;
• Must have knowledge of using Excel spreadsheet.
