Job Title: Material Handler Forklift

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts, moving materials from the production line to staging areas in a plastic blow molding facility. This plant specifically creates containers for various products including protein supplements, chocolate milk, and DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid). Your responsibilities will also include operating the wrapping machine to secure palletized materials and managing shipping and receiving tasks such as loading and unloading trucks. You will need to accurately count materials to ensure the correct amount is placed on each specific skid. During slower periods, you will also be required to perform basic cleaning tasks.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 520 Hour(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in ARGOS, Indiana.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a shift-based schedule, currently working 6 days one week and 7 the other. Working hours are either 1st shift (7a - 3:30p), 2nd shift (3p - 11:30p), or 3rd shift (11p - 7:30a). The facility operates from Monday to Saturday and occasionally on Sundays, with a maximum of 10-12 consecutive working days. This is a clean, regulated facility that follows GMP's. You will be required to wear proper attire including hair nets, beard nets, steel toe shoes, and no jewelry.
