IT Procurement SpecialistThis position will be responsible for managing all activities around IT Procurement related to negotiating and preparing contracts for execution that relate to equipment, software, software as a service, subscriptions and professional services that are specialized or complex in nature in accordance with purchasing regulations and procedures. Leading large IT sourcing deals (500k plus) meeting company RFx standards and legal guidance. Support category management cost savings initiatives by leading cross-functional projects that deliver holistic benefits, revenue generation, innovation, by leveraging company-wide Indirect categories and sub-categories strategy.This position is responsible for ensuring procurement processes are followed to minimize/eliminate risk to the organization.Ensures identified preferred vendors are utilized to control authorized spend and stay within budget.Assist with Asset management and software compliancy.This role is responsible in supporting and contributing to the overall category savings goal of at least $1MM.This role needs to be able to work with, communicate with, and present to all levels of leadership.Areas of Responsibility:Manage Procurement process for all IT purchase requests and RFx requests. Manage the relationships with the vendors as the first point of contact for the business and liaison with the vendor. This includes negotiating and communicating with top tier IT vendors for all desktop equipment, server equipment, software licensing, software as a service, and professional services. IT expert in hardware and software.Manage and facilitate the IT contractor and professional services program through preferred IT staffing firms. Run a bi-annual RFP event with preferred suppliers to establish rate cards and control contractor spend.Sourcing and vendor management: Processing requirements fromthe business and executing with the chosen vendor. This includes driving the lowest cost of ownership, reviewing and redlining contracts before going to legal and meeting corporate standards for financials, security, and signing authority.Software Requests: process software license requests and address questions related to software licensing. Knowledge expert on vendor licensing models. Assist the VMO in maintaining software tracking, software compliancy, and re-harvesting process.Required Experience/Knowledge/Skills:Four-year degree with a desired minimum of 2 years sourcing or supply chain experience with understanding of software licensing, RFx processes, contracting process, strong negotiation skills, etc.Finance experience helpful (proficient in MS Excel).Focus on customer service with great communication skills to communicate internally both upstream and downstream as well as with external vendors.Strong time management skills to handle multiple RFP events, projects, and contracts at a time.Ability to troubleshoot and generate ideas to improve processes, moving to more and more automation.Ariba, ServiceNow, DocuSign experience desired.CPM or CPSM certifications a plus.About Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
