About the Position:

The Used Equipment Manager will standardize and govern the used equipment process, maintain company standards for used equipment financial performance including gross sales, profit margin, inventory level and turnover.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise staff to develop and sustain a high level of employee performance and moral that is highly aligned with our company Mission and Core Values. 
  • Manage the trade in process including setting appropriate values and overseeing the return of timely valuations.
  • Strategically purchase and sell used inventory using wholesale resources. 
  • Monitor, manage and maintain used inventory levels including physical counts, model mix, values, aging, and proper stocking levels.
  • Analyze and provide reports to management team of used equipment remarketing financial activities in the areas of income, expenses and revenues based on annual projections and implements corrective action ensuring goals are achieved. 
  • Develop and meet budget projections relating to used equipment.
  • Trains sales team in the utilization of tools and processes to achieve sales and profitable growth.
  • Report and maintain market information regarding used equipment values and trends.
  • Advise, create, and assist with used equipment marketing. 
  • Assist in the development of department processes and procedures.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

     

Qualifications or Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in an agricultural, construction, or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, parts, or other related work.
  • Detail oriented with excellent management, organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office platform and the ability to effectively research and navigate the Internet.
  • Travel Required.
