Industrial Maintenance Technician

About the Role

We are searching for a skilled and qualified Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this crucial role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by maintaining and repairing our industrial equipment, machinery, and systems. You will be responsible for upholding the highest safety standards while troubleshooting issues, conducting inspections, performing preventive maintenance, and minimizing downtime for our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to optimize equipment performance and longevity.

  • Conduct thorough inspections to proactively identify and diagnose potential equipment malfunctions.

  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments to expertly repair or replace defective parts.

  • Effectively troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems, making necessary adjustments to maintain peak performance.

  • Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to prioritize maintenance tasks and repairs based on production needs.

  • Prioritize safety by adhering to all established protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

  • Meticulously document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance procedures.

  • Provide support in the installation of new equipment and machinery when required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical certification or relevant training program is highly preferred.

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or a similar role.

  • In-depth understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.

  • Working knowledge of electrical systems and control panels.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong working relationships.

  • The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
