Come join our team and THRIVE! The Environmental Health Technician promotes public health by conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with health and environmental regulations. The main responsibilities include inspecting Tourist Rooming Houses (TRHs) and conducting consumer protection inspections. This position plays a critical role in supporting the city\'s public health objectives. The incumbent works under the general direction of the Operations Supervisor Health. Qualifications This position requires an Associate\'s Degree in Environmental Health, or related field, a Bachelors Degree is preferred or at least 2 years of full-time equivalent experience in the fields of environmental and public health. Certification from the National Incident Management System (NIMS)/Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700.a, and 800 is required within six (6) months of employment. Salary The hiring salary range for this position is \$23.25 to \$27.90 hourly, plus an excellent fringe benefit package. Apply Now!
