JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Department Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall performance of the Commercial Department. This role involves managing a team of employees, ensuring high levels of productivity and efficiency, and maintaining excellent customer focus. The Department Manager will also be responsible for achieving departmental goals, managing budgets, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities include: 1. Compliance and Strategic Goals: o Ensure adherence to company and industry regulations. o Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluate outcomes. 4. Operational Efficiency and Financial Management: o Develop strategies to increase productivity and improve operations. o Manage the departmental budget and forecasting. o Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and improved profitability. 5. Market Awareness and Employee Engagement: o Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. o Assist in recruitment and employee engagement. 6. Day-to-Day Operations and Policies: o Manage employee schedules and hours. o Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring a smooth workflow. o Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality. o Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. 7.
