Our manufacturing client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team and help manage our organization's procurement needs. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has buying experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. work hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Creating, reviewing, and analyzing purchase requisitions and orders.

• Coordinating with manufacturing to acquire inventory cost-effectively and on time.

• Assessing opportunities to procure high-quality inventory at the best price.

• Processing purchase change orders and supplier quote requests.

• Maintaining the ERP system.

• Sourcing new suppliers when current vendors are inadequate.

• Working closely with suppliers and QA to resolve quality issues.

• Providing information by answering questions, making copies, and updating reports.
