Job Title: Mechanical Assembler : $19 to $23 per hour : Ramsey, MN
Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for brazing (using an oxyacetylene torch) copper to copper piping according to each customer's unique specifications. This role involves cutting piping to length and brazing it together, working off blueprints, and assembling the housings for these racks. You will be actively moving throughout the day, including bending, kneeling, and twisting.
Responsibilities
Brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch.
Cutting piping to the required length based on customer specifications.
Working off blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Assembling housings for the racks.
Engaging in physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.
Essential Skills
Mechanical assembly experience.
Experience with brazing and using hand tools.
Ability to read and work from blueprints.
Proficiency in using a tape measure to cut piping and insulation to the correct length.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience.
Mechanically inclined individuals such as plumbers, entry-level welders, or those with experience repairing machinery or working on cars.
Experience with MIG welding on mild steel is a plus.
