Summary
The University Outreach and Education Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing management and coordination of curricular and co-curricular outreach and engagement with UM students, faculty, and staff; coordinate research and creative scholarship relationships and agreements with Faculty and appropriate MBGNA staff; manage the MBGNA Internship Program and other associated student-facing programs; and provide coordination and oversight for student organizations sponsored by MBGNA. You will report to the Education Lead and oversee 1-2 students.

Responsibilities*
Internship Program: Oversee all aspects of the Internship Program and its implementation, on behalf of the Education Team and MBGNA as a whole. This includes development and implementation of organizational learning outcomes, updating training materials, annual internship recruitment and search processes, and iterative programmatic improvement
Curricular and Co-Curricular Coordination: Cultivate, manage, and deliver engagement with campus constituents to drive curricular and co-curricular programming, events, and experiences. Create and manage University collaborations including MBGNA's curricular integrations, student research and engagement, co-curricular student groups, and other relevant projects
Outreach and Engagement: Plan and represent MBGNA at relevant student- and faculty-facing campus events/programs
Research Relationships and Agreement Coordination: Manage Faculty research relationships and agreements, including MBGNA agreements with faculty and departments, and coordinate with appropriate MBGNA staff toward research actualization
Biocultural Diversity Fellows Program: Develop and implement the transition from MBGNA'sTechnician paradigm to that of a Biodiversity Fellows Program in keeping with the Strategic Plan
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications*
Bachelor's Degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
Experience with project or event management to include: planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement and experience managing multiple projects
Experience developing, and evaluating university student learning or programs
Experience establishing relationships and channels of communication at multiple levels and with diverse groups inside and outside the organization
Demonstrated proficiency or knowledge in equity and justice-related issues and concepts
Demonstrated experience working with students with minoritized identities
Demonstrated knowledge of issues faced by higher ed students
Experience preparing and delivering presentations to constituents at different levels
Additional Information
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
