Job Description:

Job Summary: The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. This role is crucial in optimizing processes, enhancing productivity, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Support:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and evaluate operational processes, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and support the operations team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.

  • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.

  • Assist in scheduling and resource allocation to optimize productivity.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate and manage special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager.

  • Track project progress, ensuring timely completion within budget.

  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure product/service excellence.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits, addressing any issues promptly.

Logistics and Inventory:

  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and tracking supplies and materials.

  • Coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Financial Management:

  • Assist in budget planning and financial monitoring.

  • Analyze operational costs and implement cost-saving strategies.

Customer Relations:

  • Support customer service initiatives to enhance client satisfaction.

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in operations or a similar role, preferably in medical device manufacturing.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with [industry-specific software/tools].

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
