Mission
Are you an HR professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to apply your skills? QAP is currently looking for a highly motivated HR Administrator to join our team in Anchorage, AK, United States. As a leader in road construction and construction materials manufacturing, we provide a dynamic and ambitious work environment where your contributions can create a relevant impact.
Main Responsibilities
Successfully conduct recruitment and onboarding of employees
Maintain compliance for HR policies and procedures to ensure flawless implementation
Handle I-9 documentation
Lead employee relations and provide guidance on HR issues
Assist in employee benefits programs
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Requirements
An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience in the field
Proven experience in HR administration or similar role
Ability to work with confidential information
Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and effective strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred by not required, SHRM certification
