Mission

Are you an HR professional seeking a rewarding opportunity to apply your skills? QAP is currently looking for a highly motivated HR Administrator to join our team in Anchorage, AK, United States. As a leader in road construction and construction materials manufacturing, we provide a dynamic and ambitious work environment where your contributions can create a relevant impact.

Main Responsibilities

  • Successfully conduct recruitment and onboarding of employees

  • Maintain compliance for HR policies and procedures to ensure flawless implementation

  • Handle I-9 documentation

  • Lead employee relations and provide guidance on HR issues

  • Assist in employee benefits programs

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

Requirements

  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience in the field

  • Proven experience in HR administration or similar role

  • Ability to work with confidential information

  • Understanding of HR laws, regulations, and effective strategies

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities

  • Preferred by not required, SHRM certification
